The Scar Team are a group of scar specialists who work as part of a multidisciplinary team in Bristol. Working independently, we share information confidentially about patients. All information is transferred and stored securely. We will ask you for a password which will be used for opening encrypted documents. No medical information will be relayed that is not password protected.

Members are registered with The Information Commissioner (www.ico.org.uk). Each practitioner has sole responsibility for their own treatments. For continuity of care, we ask your permission to inform your GP about treatments. We will ask your permission for photographs of scars to be held securely and anonymously.

The Scar Team is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.
Scar Team may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy has been revised in August 2019.
